Method
Fill an old fashioned glass with ice, build the vodka and coffee liqueur over it and stir briefly.
About this drink
The story goes that it was mixed in Brussels in 1949 for the American ambassador to Luxembourg. The name comes from the colour and from the vodka. Two ingredients, one glass, nothing else to do; add cream and it becomes a White Russian.
