Method
Drop a large cube into a rocks glass, pour in the vodka and amaretto and stir to chill.
About this drink
The Godmother is the Godfather with vodka in place of whiskey: without malt or cask, the almond and stone-fruit of the amaretto comes through undiluted. Renaming a formula when its base spirit changed was common practice in the bars of the period.
