About this drink

The story goes that it appeared at the Detroit Athletic Club in the 1910s, though it was first recorded in Ted Saucier's Bottoms Up in 1951. A Seattle bartender, Murray Stenson, put it back on a menu in the mid-2000s and the equal-parts herbal sour returned to fashion.
