Method
Shake tequila, pineapple juice and lime juice with ice until very cold, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and hang a lime wedge on the rim.
About this drink
More than one drink carries the name. The familiar one is Trader Vic's, printed in his bartender's guide in 1972: tequila, pineapple juice and lime — the Margarita's orange liqueur traded for pineapple, the same shape read tropically.
