Method
Fill a copper mug with ice, build the vodka and lime juice, top with ginger beer and hang a lime wedge on the rim.
About this drink
It was put together in 1941 out of two slow-moving stocks: John G. Martin's vodka and Jack Morgan's ginger beer at the Cock'n Bull in Los Angeles. The copper mug began as a marketing prop and became the drink's identity card.
