Method
Shake the mezcal, Chartreuse, Aperol and lime juice with ice until very cold and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish.

Joaquín Simó made it at Death & Co in New York in 2011: four equal parts, the frame of a Last Word with the bittersweet turn of a Paper Plane. The mezcal's smoke carries the sweetness and the bitterness of the two liqueurs.
