Method
Shake the rum, Galliano, triple sec and lime juice with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and float a lime wheel.
About this drink
The name is generally taken from the Caribbean song 'Yellow Bird', which spread through resort bars in the 1950s and 1960s. Recipes vary, but they agree on rum with a yellow liqueur scented with vanilla and herbs, which is where the colour comes from.
